So ask yourself, if you get a better workout, ride further, have more fun, not to mention the extra weight of emtb is so much more stable when jumping, why would you go back to a pedal pusher. I ride with a HR band I know this for a fact. In fact the higher the level of assistance the higher your carido workout. For all you non-believers you get a much more intense cardio workout on an ebike than your regular pedal pusher, as you can push harder, faster, longer. Most of you winners probably have never ridden a emtb, if you did you would never go back to the dark side of a pedal bike with no motor.

OMG listening to all you whiners, just please STFU. Maybe I'm spoiled because I've got such good lbs', but still, it seems like your saying bike shops are just portals for ordering from distributors? No excuse to not have all drive train parts, brakes, maybe a couple of wheel sets, a few dozen sets of tyres, etc. 4 days later it had arrived but they couldn't find it, so they pulled one out of stock and gave it her. My missus had to take her levo battery in on the recall, it had a red light on it too, they couldn't diagnose it in store, so they sent it specialized who also couldn't diagnose it, new battery sent out.

Im not gonna lie, I have 3 of the biggest UK bike shops within driving distance (merlin cycles, winstanleys and leisure lakes, plus leisure lakes main warehouse is literally the next town over to me, delivery from them is same day if I ring them and they have it at the warehouse instead of in store) which is clearly a big big big advantage, and I know not everyone is that lucky, but to some degree, I don't understand buying from a shop that doesn't offer the back up. So maybe the quality of the shop is the bigger question. I know people who have walked in with a motor fault and walked out with a new motor fitted a few hours later. Well the 3 shops I use all have stuff like that on the shelf, along with ebike spares (for the two that sell them).
